Volunteer Information

Race Date - Saturday, May 4, 2019

 

We are in need of volunteers to make this event successful. If you are interested in volunteering and you’re running or walking you may still volunteer, just let us know and we will schedule you accordingly.  (Even if you can come for just an hour, we appreciate your help!)  All dates and times listed below are tentative until the day of the race is finalized.

Event Setup

Friday, May 3 from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm

  • Help in the NYE gym with vendor table set-up, registration booth and awards table.  Help in the MPR with breakfast set-up.

 

Silent Auction Set Up

Friday, May 3 from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm

  • Help set up the items for the silent auction the day before the race.

 

Registration

Friday, May 3 from 3:30 pm-7:00 pm

  • Help check in runners, pass out packets, t-shirts and race bibs.

 

Registration

Saturday, May 4 from 7:00 am-9:00 am

  • Help check in runners, pass out packets, t-shirts and race bibs.

 

Silent Auction

Saturday, May 4 from 7:00 am-1:00 pm

  • Work the auction, answer questions, collect payments and/or hand out items after purchase.

 

Breakfast Volunteers

Saturday, May 3 from 7:00 am-11:00 am

  • Help with the breakfast by making coffee, prepare food, collect food tickets at the door or help with clean up.

 

Race Course Marshall

Saturday, May 4 from 7:30 am-10:30 am

  • Stand along the race course and help cheer on runners, give directions and help any runners that might need it. Family and friends groups can be requested.

 

Race Line Runner

Saturday, May 4 from 7:30 am-10:00 am

  • Course Marshal Driver drop-off and pick-up, starting line front person and finish line to pass out medals.

 

Timer Assistant

Saturday, May 4 from 8:00 am-10:00 am

  • Assist the event timer with timing during the 1 mile and 5k.

 

Clean up after the race

Saturday, May 4 from 11:00 am-1:30 pm

  • Help take down course signs, pick up water bottles, clean-up MPR and gym.

 

Calling All High School Students

 

Do you need Service Hour Credits? High school students that need community hours can get 3 hours easily by volunteering at the race.
